On Friday night a full house at Bethlehem's Godfrey Daniels revisited the
music of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. An animated, personaable John McEuen played
their songs and told stories about them, along with performing a wealth of
other Americana tunes and telling tales from his years on the road. McEuen has
been with the still touring Dirt band almost since the beginning. But his
solo/duo shows are the closest to his heart, as he and his friend Matt
Cartsonis proved in their tw- hour, no intermission set.
