Easy Christian Songs to Play on Guitar
The use of music in worship is well documented in the Bible and has been used ever since. The Book of Exodus states that after God safely brought the Israelites across the Red Sea and killed the Egyptians who were pursuing them, Moses and the Israelites sang a song of praise to God. Miriam and the Israelite women used a timbrel, sang and danced. The Book of Psalms is a collection of 150 songs used in worship.
Over the years, church music has included songs, chants, organ, piano, guitar, and other instruments. While the type of music may change over the years, music has always remained an integral part of the Christian church. Guitar is a popular instrument for use in church settings.
